MAKING DANCE
Making Dance is a short form documentary that follows Kayla Farrish as a full time working dance artist, crafting Put Away the Fire Dear, for a residency at the closing Chelsea Factory in New York City, and as she embarks on her new solo DOCILE taking it from studio to stage. This film aims to draw an intimate portrait of Kayla, an artist living in New York City using her indelible sense of improvisation to navigate, create and stay committed to her artistic vision of liberation.
